A Quick Note About the Paperwork...

Warning — the paperwork is fairly lengthy. It stops just short of asking for your inside leg measurement (just!). But the licensing procedures behind the scenes are just as thorough.

While my aim is always for your dog to be happy, relaxed and fulfilled during their time with me, their health and safety is just as important. In the unlikely event of an emergency, it’s vital that I have the correct contact details and permissions in place so that I can act quickly when time may be of the essence.

There are also a number of records and consents I’m required to hold in order to maintain my licence — something that is extremely important to me. It’s what sets licensed daycare providers and home-boarders apart, along with the reassurance that we are fully insured. Our homes are inspected, and we must clearly demonstrate our procedures, protocols and emergency plans before being approved and allowed to operate.

So please think of the paperwork as an essential tool that helps ensure your dog is happy, fulfilled, safe and in good hands while they’re with me.

Before we meet, it would be helpful if you can locate:
• Your dog’s microchip details

• Your vet’s contact details

• A copy of their vaccination record (which I will need to take a copy of, to record their latest DHP and Lepto vaccination dates)

Everything else you’ll already know — and by the end of our session, so will I. That knowledge allows me to care for your dog properly and give you complete peace of mind while they’re at Luna’s Doggie Den.
