Full-day DayCARE
At Luna’s Doggie Den, our full-day daycare is thoughtfully structured to provide a calm, enriching, home-from-home experience. The day flows naturally between countryside adventure, enrichment, rest, and companionship, allowing dogs to feel settled, secure, and part of daily life—not just managed in a group setting.
This isn’t about constant activity or filling time. It’s about creating the right rhythm for the dogs in my care—ensuring they are mentally and physically fulfilled, while also having the space to relax and recharge.
Owners can feel confident that their dog is not only well cared for, but truly understood—heading home content, balanced, and happy after a full day at the Den.
Full-Day Daycare available from June 2026
Daycare, Tailored to Your Dog
We offer three carefully structured daycare options, each designed to suit different energy levels, routines, and personalities—so every dog enjoys a day that feels just right for them.
1-1.5 hour walk
Our countryside walks are at least one hour long, with each dog’s adventure guided by their individual pace and preferences.
Dogs are free to explore and enjoy the environment in a way that feels natural to them—whether that’s chasing Luna or their friends, playing ball, sniffing, digging, enjoying zoomies, or simply staying close by my side.
For safety and peace of mind, long lines are used where needed, and all off-lead time is discussed and agreed with owners in advance.
- Retreat Day at the Den includes a countryside walk early in the afternoon
- Adventure Day at the Den (and our Extended Adventure Day at the Dem) includes both an early morning and an afternoon countryside walk, ideal for higher-energy dogs
- Rest & Recharge Day at the Den* begins with an early morning countryside walk.
*By invitation only
Enrichment at the den
Each day at the Den is carefully balanced to include enrichment, rest, and companionship—allowing dogs to settle, decompress, and feel truly at home.
- Retreat Day dogs enjoy a slower-paced morning at the Den, with gentle play, enrichment, and companionship before their countryside walk in the afternoon
- Rest & Recharge Day dogs* return after their morning walk to a peaceful, balanced environment with rest, relaxed play, cuddles, enrichment, and the opportunity for a proper sleep
- Adventure Day dogs return after their morning walk for a calm mix of rest, relaxed play, cuddles, and enrichment before heading out again for their second afternoon adventure
- Extended Adventure Day dogs return to the Den after their second countryside walk for a calm wind-down at the Den, with time to rest, relax, and enjoy the quiet after their adventures.
Activities are thoughtfully chosen to reflect natural canine behaviours and instincts, helping dogs to unwind both mentally and physically.
Afternoon Wind-Down at the Den
From around 4–6 pm, our day naturally slows down as dogs settle into a period of rest and relaxation. After a full day of adventure, enrichment, and companionship, this quiet time allows them to decompress, recharge, and enjoy the calm, home-from-home environment of the Den.
During this time, I remain present, providing gentle supervision, companionship, and access to the garden for toilet breaks as needed.
This balanced rhythm ensures every dog heads home feeling calm, content, and ready to relax with you for the evening.
Local pick-up & Drop off
Local pick-up and drop-off are included, making the experience simple and seamless for owners.
Pick-ups and drop-offs are carefully scheduled around our morning and early afternoon walks, so dogs spend minimal time travelling and maximum time enjoying fun activities at the Den.
Pick-up times: from 7:30 am, 10 am
Drop-off times: from 6 pm (from 3pm for Adventure Day at the Den Sessions)
Please note: “from” times indicate the start of our collection and drop-off routes. Exact timings will vary slightly depending on location and route planning.
Our local transport service covers clients in Riddlesdown, Sanderstead, South Croydon, Selsdon, and nearby areas (typically within a 1–2 mile radius of Sanderstead, CR2).
For regular clients, a key-holding service is also available for added convenience.
Dining at the den
Dogs are fed separately — either in different rooms or using barriers across open-plan spaces — ensuring each dog receives the correct portion and preventing any potential conflicts. Owners provide their dog’s meal, which is then fed at the Den at the appropriate time.
For safety reasons, we recommend that dogs — particularly our more active early risers— are fed after their morning walk, as exercise within 2–3 hours of a meal can increase the risk of bloat (GDV). Owners should provide their dog’s usual meal, which will be fed at the Den at the appropriate time.
Luna enjoys a daily home-cooked breakfast, and Den Dogs — along with their owners — have the opportunity to sample a portion of her breakfast. With prior agreement, a small amount may be incorporated into later enrichment activities. These snacks are optional and are not intended to replace your dog’s regular diet.
I have a keen interest in canine health and nutrition and have completed the IMDT Canine Nutrition course, continually building my knowledge through trusted recipes and expert resources.

The Story Behind Our Rest & Recharge Day
My intention was always to provide fully supervised care at the Den, ensuring every dog felt safe, supported, and never left alone.
Then I met Lucy.
Lucy is a beautiful, calm lurcher who had been lovingly rehomed. It quickly became clear that what she needed wasn’t more activity—but the right kind of day. Her owners wanted her to be cared for throughout the day, without spending the afternoon at home, but she didn’t need a second long countryside walk.
When Lucy came for her meet and greet, she settled immediately. Calm, content, and completely at ease in her surroundings. In that moment, I knew—just like Luna—she would be perfectly happy to rest quietly for a short period in a safe, familiar space.
That’s when I realised… sometimes, doing the very best for a dog means being flexible.
And so, our Rest & Recharge Day was born.
A carefully balanced day designed for calm, well-settled dogs who thrive on a slower pace—combining gentle adventure, enrichment, rest, and companionship in a home-from-home environment.
This service remains strictly by invitation only, and is offered only to dogs who are confident and settled enough to enjoy a short period of solo rest time (with full owner consent).
Because every dog is different—and their care should be too

Additional Support
Weekend support for the pack....
From time to time, I’m happy to offer weekend one-to-one support for our regular Den dogs.
Every dog is different, and occasionally a little extra individual time can make a big difference. Whether your dog is feeling unsure around other dogs, lacks confidence on road walks, or simply needs a little extra guidance with things like recall or lead etiquette, I’m always happy to help where I can.
Sometimes these sessions may take place during our family walks with Luna, allowing your dog to build confidence in a calm and supportive environment. I’m also happy to work with owners who would like a little reassurance or practical guidance — using my own equipment where helpful — so you feel confident reinforcing good habits at home.
These sessions are not formal training, just a little extra support for the Den pack when it’s helpful — because a confident, happy dog makes life better for every pup in our pack.
And because Luna’s Doggie Den is licensed, dogs can always return to the Den afterwards for a clean-up, cuddles, and some relaxed downtime with me, Luna, and my dog-loving family.
If you think your dog would benefit from a little extra one-to-one time, just get in touch to check availability. On occasion, I may also suggest a little extra time myself — don’t be alarmed! My goal is simply to ensure the best experience for your dog on our walks and back at the Den, keeping all our pups happy and confident.
"I ran my own dog walking, day and boarding business for 5 years and Tracey is the only person I’d leave my setter and lurcher with (other than my mum!). They absolutely adore her and she really does love them like she does Luna. Highly recommend her"
Sarah
"We feel so lucky to have found Tracey for our dog Rocky. She began with puppy pop-in visits when he was just 12 weeks old and has gradually moved on to walks at his pace as he’s grown.
Tracey always checks in about how we’d like things done, so we’ve felt completely comfortable and involved throughout. Her communication is fantastic, and her updates are regular and reassuring.
She’s also gone above and beyond with helpful advice and guidance during our early weeks as new dog owners. It’s clear she genuinely cares about Rocky and his development. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!"
Jo
"Tracey came highly recommended by another local dog walker and has been invaluable to us. She has been very welcoming to our dog who loves going out with her, as evidenced by Tracey's video updates from their walks. Tracey has been informative about her business so we know our dog is in very safe hands. Thank you!"
