Staying at luna's doggie den

Boarding guests enjoy all the comforts of a home-from-home environment, including enrichment activities, companionship, and plenty of opportunities to rest and relax.

Our location is one of the things that makes Luna's Doggie Den so special. Situated just minutes from beautiful woodland, open countryside, and green spaces, we are perfectly placed for dogs who love to get outdoors and explore.

During each 24-hour boarding period, dogs receive a minimum of two walks, each lasting at least 30 minutes. One walk takes place before daycare sessions begin, with a second walk taking place after daycare sessions have finished. These walks provide plenty of opportunities to exercise, sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors, helping dogs return home happy, fulfilled, and relaxed.

Where suitable and numbers allow, some boarding guests may have the opportunity to join our morning daycare group walk. Participation in my daycare group walks is entirely at my discretion and will depend on each dog's temperament, behaviour, and compatibility with the group.

As Luna's Doggie Den also provides daycare services, boarding dogs must be comfortable being left for short periods during the day while daycare dogs are collected, exercised, and returned home. Walking schedules may vary depending on weather conditions, daylight hours, and the individual needs of each dog, but every guest will enjoy plenty of exercise, enrichment, care, and attention throughout their stay.

Please note that transport and meals are not included.

our OVERNIGHT STAYS

Overnight care at Luna's Doggie Den is designed to be calm, personal, and home-from-home. Dogs stay alongside our resident dog, Luna, in a peaceful and secure family environment.

During peak holiday periods, there will most likely be dogs from additional households staying with us. All guests are carefully assessed to ensure they are a good fit for the group.

Our overnight guests enjoy a full, relaxed day of exercise, enrichment, and companionship before settling in for the night.

Space is limited and subject to availability.

Please note that licensing requirements mean all dogs must complete a trial overnight stay before boarding.

Boarding periods

Our overnight boarding rate covers a 24-hour stay. Drop-off and pick-up times are arranged individually to fit around our walks and daycare schedule and will be confirmed at the time of booking. Where a stay extends beyond the agreed boarding period, an additional daycare charge may apply.

"I ran my own dog walking, day and boarding business for 5 years and Tracey is the only person I’d leave my setter and lurcher with (other than my mum!). They absolutely adore her and she really does love them like she does Luna. Highly recommend her"

"Tracey and Luna came to Whitgift House during 2025 in the capacity of volunteers. Luna being a trained and assessed Therapy dog. They visit us on a bi-weekly basis.

They are a great duo, bringing fun and pleasure to residents, staff and visitors. Luna is the cutest, most gentle dog. Tracey will sit and chat to the residents with an understanding and listening ear.

They are committed to this very important role with many residents waiting excitedly for their visit."

"Tracey came highly recommended by another local dog walker and has been invaluable to us. She has been very welcoming to our dog who loves going out with her, as evidenced by Tracey's video updates from their walks. Tracey has been informative about her business so we know our dog is in very safe hands. Thank you!"
